This primarily residential area contains tiny, older residences as well as small business sectors. The Interurban Trail, which provides recreational options for walkers, runners, cyclists, and inline skaters, is also located here. Pinehurst Beverly Park is also home to Cascade High School.

Pinehurst/Beverly Park has a fascinating history. The interurban route, which connects Everett and Seattle, goes through it. The Interurban Trolley traveled between the two cities along this route from 1910 to 1939, and Pinehurst/Beverly Park pays homage to this heritage on their community sign.
